Job Description
Kot Addu Power Company Ltd (KAPCO) owns, operates and maintains the largest Thermal Power Plant in Pakistan, located at Kot Addu, District Muzaffargarh, Punjab. It has a total capacity of 1800 MW power generation with 15 power Generating Units of Siemens, GE, Fiat and Alstom design. The company currently have the following career openings:
TECHNICIANS (INSTRUMENT & CONTROL)
The incumbent will be responsible to carry out the routine I&C maintenance activities, overhauling, inspection, checking, fault finding, rectification, calibration and maintenance of process control instruments / equipments according to prudent practices. He will also be responsible to carry out preventive maintenance activities and implementation of approved modifications on plant and to take active part in day to day troubleshooting and repair of control system field devices. He will coordinate & cooperate with I&C team and other staff for developing good working environment.
THE CANDIDATE MUST:
* Have 3 years Diploma in Associate Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation) from recognized Technical Institute.
* Have minimum 3 years relevant experience as I&C Fitter / Technician I&C in a well reputed organization.
* Have excellent interpersonal, communication and computer application & key board skills:
* Have comprehensive knowledge and concept of process control instrument;
* Have concept of basic electronic components.
* Have ability to read PIDs and control drawings
* Be around 22 years of age.
TECHNICIANS (MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE)
The incumbent will be responsible to carry out the activities of routine & preventive maintenance, overhauling, inspection, checking, dismantling / assembling, precise measurement, alignment, recording etc. of mechanical equipments as per OEM recommendations while observing Safety Rules. He will also be responsible to perform inspection and lifting of different components with chain blocks, hoists, jacks, etc. he will be responsible to fabricate small items / structures and to identify & rectify the faults. He will co-ordinate and cooperate with his team and with other sections for developing good working environment.
THE CANDIDATE MUST:
* Have 3 years Diploma in Associate Engineering (Mechanical) from recognized Technical Institute.
* Have minimum 3 years relevant experience as Mechanical Fitter / Technician Mechanical in a well reputed organization;
* Have excellent interpersonal, communication and computer application & key board skills.
* Have ability to read & understand the technical literature, drawing and report writing in English.
* Have ability to read the values using precision measuring instruments / tools;
* Be around 22 years of age.
